It’s a super cold morning here in Denmark. Today will not be very busy for me, so I have some time to write a new entry. Btw, yesterday was Election Day. I went to Vedbæk School to see how it’s done. It’s different from the way we do it in the Philippines. The candidates were allowed to stay and monitor the voting places. AND they were still permitted to campaign for themselves. In PH, they would have hired monitors, usually teachers, to do the job and of course, candidates cannot be visible in voting venues. Voters here receive a stub containing the time and venue by mail. On election, you get the election forms (which are really big!) from the counter, enter a cubicle and vote. And instead of indelible ink on your finger, they will give you a piece of candy.
It was a new and cool experience for me! Moving on to this blog entry: I worked in a private school in Manila only for a year, but I made good friendships during that time. It was nice that we ended the school year with a Faculty Outing in a beautiful resort in 2013.

Punta de Fabian is a mountain resort located in Baras, Rizal. The resort seemed perfect for private gatherings, special celebrations like birthdays and weddings, and team-building activities. It had pools and rooms and a videoke bar, and best of all, a lovely view from the hilltop!

Wanna get lost? There’s an old labyrinth visitors could try to solve.

Design in filipino-zen style, guest rooms had nice facilities, and outside, an infinity pool, a regular lagoon-pool, and a jacuzzi. All in for a completely relaxing stay.

Function rooms, bars, and a restaurant were also available for exclusive use, so the resort was ideal for gatherings and group outings.
