Faculty Outing at Punta de Fabian Resort in Rizal

It’s a super cold morning here in Denmark. Today will not be very busy for me, so I have some time to write a new entry. 🙂 Btw, yesterday was Election Day here in Denmark. My sweet host mom took me to Vedbæk School to see how it’s done. My, it’s different from the way we do it in the Philippines.

It’s fascinating how the candidates were allowed to stay and monitor in the voting places. AND they were still permitted to campaign for themselves. 😛 In PH, they would have hired monitors, usually teachers, to do the job and of course, candidates must be out somewhere! The process here is very easy. You will receive a stub containing the time and venue by mail, and when you get there, just get election forms (which were really big!) from the counter, enter a cubicle and vote. 😀 And instead of indelible ink on your finger, they will give you a piece of candy, usually chocolate. 😛

It was a new experience!  Anyway, here’s another fantastic resort in the Philippines.I worked for ICA, a Chinese school in Manila, only for a year but I have made good friendships there and it was nice that we ended the school year with a Faculty Outing in this beautiful resort.

Function rooms. bars. and a restaurant are available foe exclusive use, making the resort ideal for gatherings and group outings. The rooms are not very affordable though, but with all the amenities Punta de Fabian has to offer, it’s worth it!
